PURPOSE: To provide a high-voltage bridge interface circuit, which has a high- voltage separating circuit 42 and a drive circuit 44 for simplifying the high- voltage interface and reducing the necessity of endeavor for system integration, for the control circuit of an AC motor or a DC brushless motor. CONSTITUTION: A separating circuit 42 provides unidirectional high-voltage separation between a control circuit 12 and a high-voltage transmission line 68. A drive circuit 44 improves noise characteristic at the gate terminal of a power MOSFET bridge. A high-voltage bridge interface circuit enables the integration of individual parts of the power-MOSFET drive circuit and the integration of the system at large by providing a high-voltage interface in a single IC and separating them.
