<p>PURPOSE: To produce sport hosiery with floated pattern by a circular knitting machine. CONSTITUTION: The knitting cams and the raising cams are withdrawn in the radial direction in the pattern knitting yarn feed station so causing those needles which have received the pattern yarns to pass to an intermediate level until the feed station in which the basic yarn is fed. These cams then returned to the operating position for the production of the foot in multi-feed plain knitting.</p> |
