PURPOSE:To decrease the number of times of maintenance by a user and to reduce cost by integrating a developer supplying means and a developer storing means and making them attachable/detachable with respect to a cleaning means and a developing means. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge type kit 60 is constituted of a toner storing part 60a for supply functioning as the cylindrical supply means where toner to be supplied is stored and a box-like discharged toner storing part 60b functioning as the storing means integrated with the supplying means, and it is inserted from the side part of a device main body 1 so as to be detachable, then inserted and loaded in a toner supply port at the upper part of a developing unit. Furthermore, a discharged toner receiving port 60c is chamfered 124, so that the kit 60 is very smoothly loaded. Since functions for supplying and recovering the toner are integrated, one switch for detecting the presence or absence of the toner is sufficient, and the cost of the device main body 1 is reduced. |
