摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accurately and continuously detect and quantify ammonia gas by constituting a polymer film so that the light reflectivity of the polymer film changes at the time of the contact of the polymer film with ammonia. CONSTITUTION:A polymer film 12 based on a conductive polymer is formed on a transparent substrate 11 and a light emitting element 21 and a light detecting element 31 are arranged on the rear side of the transparent substrate 11 to be integrally received in a casing 40. The polymer film 12 is in contact with an atmosphere (ammonia) to be inspected. Therefore, the light emitted from the light emitting element 21 is incident to the substrate 11 from the rear thereof and the mirror surface reflectivity of the light at this time is caught by the light detecting element 31 provided to the rear of the substrate 11 and a chemical substance to be inspected can be detected and quantified from the change of the reflectivity. By this method, an extremely uniform and homogenous membrane is obtained and the response thereof as a sensor is fast and the reflectivity is kept high and stable and, therefore, highly sensitive detection becomes possible.</p>
