PURPOSE:To secure the engaging torque of an electromagnetic clutch moderately and suppress wasteful power consumption by making electrically parallel connection between the electromagnetic clutch which transmits the output torque of an engine to a compressor and a motor which is provided to a blower. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic clutch 30 gives a compressor 10 the output torque transmitted from an engine of a vehicle to a V pulley 20. The electromagnetic coil of the electromagnetic clutch 30 is connected in parallel to the armature winding of a blower motor 50 which is fitted to the blower fan 40 of an air-conditioner, so as to form a parallel circuit. And a control circuit 60 is connected in series to the parallel circuit. Attention is paid to the fact that both the air-blowing capacity of the blower fan 40 and the generated torque of the compressor 10 change in a similar manner in the normal operating condition of an air conditioner for the vehicle, thus, both the electromagnetic clutch 30 and the blower motor 50 are controlled simultaneously by means of the control circuit 60. When the air-blowing capacity of the blower fan 40 is small, the generated torque of the compressor 10 is also reduced. |
