PURPOSE:To improve the touch and grip of the entire surface of a rubber material without being influenced by environmental conditions by orienting staple fibers in a direction normal to the surface of the rubber material to expose them to the outside so that the fibers are evenly erected all over the rubber material. CONSTITUTION:Staple fibers 5 are mixed into a rubber material 2, wherein the fibers 3 are oriented in a direction normal to the surface 2a of the material 2 to expose them from the surface 2a. The base ends 5a of the fiber 5 are embedded as deep as 0.1mm or more in the material 2, while the tips 3b of the fibers 0.01-1.00mm in length are exposed from the surface 2a. And 50% or more of the fibers are oriented in a direction normal to the surface 2a. As the raw rubber for the material 2, natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene rubber, urethane rubber are used independently or jointly. As the staple fibers 5, fibers having a length of 10mm or less are used and natural or synthetic fibers such as cotton, rayon, wool, polyamide fibers, and inorganic fibers such as carbon fibers, steel fibers are employed. |
