发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To make possible the formation of a sharp image which fixes to an image-receiving material satisfactorily and is well preservable by adding a specific chemical compound to a coloring layer and/or a layer adjacent to the coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermally sensitive transfer material consists of a coloring layer 5 containing a thermally transferable color. A chemical compound expressed by a formula is added to the coloring layer 5 and/or a layer adjacent to the coloring layer. Then an image-receiving material 3 consisting of, for example, an image-receiving base 1 and an image-receiving layer 2 is used, and if the thermally transferable recording material is composed of a support 4 and the coloring layer 5, light, for example, laser beam corresponding to image information is emitted from the support 4 side. In this case, the chemical compound expressed by the formula in the coloring layer 5 generates heat by converting the light energy of laser beam to thermal energy and a color in the coloring material 5 is diffused and migrated through the image-receiving material 3. Further, an image is formed in the image-receiving layer 2 due to the color compound. The image formed is highly fixable and preservable as well as is sharp.
