发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the above image receiving material forming a high density dye transfer image and excellent in fingerprint resistance, storage stability and light fastness by adding a dye permeable release agent to a dyeing image receiving layer based on a specific thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving material has a base material 1 composed of paper, plastic or an inorg. sheet and a dyeing image receiving layer 2 is formed on the base material 1. The dyeing image receiving layer 2 is based on a thermoplastic polyester resin having four hydroxyl groups and characterized by that tensile breaking strength is 180kg/cm<2> or more and tensile breaking extension is 15% or more and prepared while sebacid acid is adjusted to 2-10mol at the time of copolymerization. The dyeing image receiving layer 2 is constituted of a composition prepared by adding a dye permeable release agent composed of an addition reaction or condensation reaction type curable silicone resin to the thermoplastic polyester resin. By this constitution, the transfer of a resin from a thermal transfer medium containing a sublimable dye in its transfer layer to the image receiving material is eliminated and the release of the thermal transfer medium from the image receiving material is smoothly performed.
