PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a junction having excellent characteristics by composing a superconducting layer, a nonsuperconducting layer without directly laminating. CONSTITUTION:In a superconducting junction having first and second superconducting layers, and a tunnel barrier of a nonsuperconducting layer formed between the first and second superconducting layers, the superconducting layer 1 formed of oxide superconductor on a substrate 10, a nonsuperconducting layer 3 so covering the superconducting layer that the upper surface is thick and the side is thin, and a stripelike profile second superconducting layer 2 formed of oxide superconductor equal to that of the first superconducting layer to cross in T shape with the first superconducting layer as the entire shape are provided, and the tunnel barrier is formed on a rising part 4 of the part in which the layers 3 and the first, second layers are crossed.
