<p>A subsea fluid coupling includes self-sealing male and female couplers (1, 11) and an elastomeric O-ring seal (37) accommodated in the female coupler for sealing around the male coupler. The leading periphery (41) of the male coupler (1) is provided with ridges (45) and channels (46) which respectively support the seal and allow fluid flow past the seal (37) during withdrawal of the male coupler.</p> |
