<p>Animal feeding device with dispensing means operable by an animal. A hopper for free-flowing feed is arranged above a feeding trough (2). The bottom surface of the hopper comprises a discharge aperture (4). Arranged under the hopper is an element (5) which has an upper surface (5a) terminating in two substantially parallel free edges. Bearing-mounted above the element (5) and parallel to the free edges is a shaft (7) which, seen in top plan view, extends along a line dividing the discharge aperture into two substantially equal passages. At one end the shaft comprises an L-shaped extension (7a) extending downwardly. This extension (7a) can be pivoted to the left and to the right by an animal. Mounted perpendicularly to the shaft is a pushing member (7b) with a height in radial direction substantially equal to the perpendicular distance between the shaft and the upper surface of the element. <IMAGE></p> |
