A miniature inductor formed on a core and having strips of printed circuitboard material forming contact elements for surface mounting the inductor to a printed circuitboard. The contact elements are formed from an epoxy-based board having a spacer section adhesively bonded to the core and a copper strip bonded to the other side of the spacer section. The winding on the core has ends soldered to the copper strips on the contact elements. |
