摘要 An ignition timing control device in a spark ignition type engine such as a gasoline engine (internal combustion engine), wherein: a throttle opening variation value ( DELTA THETA ) is calculated on the basis of a value ( THETA ) obtained by sampling a throttle opening degree of the engine by a throttle opening variation value smapling means (84); a real volume efficiency (Evr) is calculated on the basis of a real intake air value (A) and a real engine speed (Ne) by a real volume efficiency calculating means (81), and the said real volume efficiency (Evr) is corrected on the basis of information relating to the said throttle opening variation value ( DELTA THETA ) by a volume efficiency correcting means (83), whereby an effective volume efficiency (Evm) is calculated; an ignition timing is set by an ignition timing setting means (58) in accordance with the said effective volume efficiency (Evm) and the engine speed (Ne); an ignition timing control signal is outputted from a control means (68) on the basis of an ignition timing set by the said ignition timing setting means (58) and an igniting means (18) is activated in response to this ignition timing control signal; and particularly, when the said real volume efficiency (Evr) exceeds a predetermined threshold value corresponding to the vicinity of the full opening value of the said throttle during acceleration, sampling operation of the said throttle opening variation value sampling means (84) is prohibited by a sampling prohibiting means (85); so that knocking during acceleration can be reliably prevented with the rapid acceleration of the engine permitted as much as possible.
