<p>PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency of a user by constituting the system so that even if an instructing point is positioned in the periphery of a display limit, the whole icon is always displayed on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:In the case shape data of four kinds of arrows 8a - 8d for indicating right up, right down, left up and left down is registered in a table 5, and indicates points on the periphery of each display limit of the upper and the lower parts and the left and the right of a display screen 7, each area of 9a - 9d is allowed to correspond to each arrow 8a - 8d so that an icon is always displayed on the screen. As a result of retrieval, when shape data of the icon displayed in an area containing its coordinate is obtained, a table retrieving part 4 delivers its data to an icon display part 6, and the icon display part 6 displays the icon on the display screen 7 so that the arrow indicates a coordinate position in accordance with the received shape data and an instructing point coordinate 3. In such a way, the instructing point can be confirmed immediately, and the work efficiency can be improved.</p> |
