The subject of the invention is a composition which is repellent to animals and its application in mollusc-destroying baits. The bait composition for combating molluscs comprises a molluscicide, a mollusc-attracting product, a first component which is repellent to animals and a synergetic quantity of a second component which contains at least one alkaloid, the first and the second component not existing together in nature. Applications: the novel anti-mollusc bait according to the invention is repellent to pets and prevents intoxications and poisonings of dogs and cats.
