PURPOSE:To restrain increase of transmission power in a certain high frequency range and provide for vibration damping by installing a damping matrix on an elastic supporting body in a hollow chamber fixed to an inner or outer cylinder of a vibration- proof device equipped with an elastic body connecting inner and outer cylinders together and a hollow chamber formed between the cylinders and the hollow chamber. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 1, wherein a center bearing 5 supporting a propeller shaft of a vehicle at its midway is embedded, and an outer cylinder 2 are connected together with an elastic body 3 and a hollow chamber 4 is formed between the two cylinders. Inside the hollow chamber 4 is provided with a dynamic damper consisting of an elastic supporting body 7, fixed to the inner cylinder 1, and a damper matrix 8 fitted to the body 7. The outside circumference side of the matrix 8 is provided with a stopper rubber 9. When a high frequency vibration is applied to the inner cylinder 1, a swollen portion 3A of the elastic body 3 is bent causing a reaction force to generate, and the damper matrix 8 vibrates causing a resonance phenomena to generate by the resonance frequency which is determined by the relation between the elastic supporting body 7 and the damper matrix 8. Transmission force can be lowered around this resonance frequency. |
