PURPOSE: An insurance system for electronic commerce is provided to prevent deliberate cheating and cover the risk of loss and damage of the products on delivery. CONSTITUTION: An insurance system for electronic commerce is provided including computers for purchase(10), computers for marketing(20) and computers for insurance(30) interconnected by network. The computers for purchase(10) transmits order sheets of commodity, receives insurance certification message and transmits information whether the commodity has received and whether there is any defects of the received commodity. The computers for marketing(20) applies for the insurance to the computers for insurance(30) and receives order sheets of the commodity and insurance certification message transmitted from the computers for insurance(30). The computers for insurance(30) gives license to the insurance registration of the computers for marketing(20), receives order sheets of commodity, transmits insurance certification message to the computers for purchase(10) and the computers for marketing(20), receives messages from the computers for purchase(10) whether the commodity has arrived and whether there is any defects.
