<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility that a top part is printed with a low density or a midway or last part is printed with a large thickness by a method wherein all dots are previously preheated, and after printing is started, a heating of printing dots specified by printing data and a preheating of non-printing dots specified by reversed printing data are alternately repeated per printing line. CONSTITUTION:Before printing is started, top preheating printing data 4a are transmitted, and all dots are uniformly preheated by a plurality of pulses. Thereafter, first line printing data 4b are transmitted, and specified printing dots are heated. During this printing cycle, a data change-over switch 3 is actuated, the data to be inputted to a line thermal head 1 is changed-over to reversed printing data 5b, and non-printing dots which have not been heated in the first line printing are heated. Succeedingly, the same printing cycle is repeated so that the temperature of all the dots at the start of each printing cycle is the same as that at the end of each printing.</p> |
