PURPOSE:To stabilize picture quality by controlling the driving of a conveying means for refixation so that a recording form passes through a fixing means plural times when an overhead projector (OHP) mode is selected. CONSTITUTION:A conveyance control means (CPU) controls the driving of the conveying means 58 for refixation so that the recording form passes through the fixing means several times when the OHP mode is selected and the size of the recording form is larger than a specific value or when the OHP mode is selected and the image of an original has a color other than black. Then a fixing speed control means (CPU) make the conveying speed of the recording form to the fixing means 51 slower than usual when the OHP mode is selected and the original image has a color other than black, and holds the conveying speed of the recording form to the fixing means 15 as usual regardless of the selection of the OHP mode when the original image includes only black. Consequently, the picture quality is stabilized. |
