PURPOSE:To fusion-bond films continously into a wrinkle-free high-quality condition at a high workability efficiency and prolong the useful life of a ultrasonic sealing machine by a method wherein the part to be fusion-bonded is held between an upper and a lower belt, and while moving the thus held part on a fixed receiving stand, ultrasonic waves are applied to the part. CONSTITUTION:In the condition where the parts to be fusion-bonded of flexible films 4a, 4b are overlapped on each other and the overlapped parts are held between the horizontal travelling parts of endless belts 27, 14, the overlapped parts are moved by feed rollers 2, 2. While moving the parts to be bonded under this condition, ultrasonic waves are applied to the parts to be bonded from the lower end surface of a horn 30 through the upper belt 27 by operating an ultrasonic wave oscillator 28. The ultrasonic wave penetrated downward through the parts to be bonded is reflected by the lower belt 14 or the fixed stand 15 and is applied again to the parts to be bonded. |
