FLAME-RESISTANT RESIN COMPOSITION FOR INJECTION MOLDING

PURPOSE:To provide the subject resin composition having excellent processability and impact strength by compounding a flame-resistant resin comprising a styrenic resin and a vinyl chloride resin with a modifying agent comprising a polyester elastomer in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a flame-resistant resin comprising 30-80wt.% of a styrenic resin containing a methyl ethyl ketone-soluble portion having a reduced viscosity of 0.20-0.55dl/g (N,N-dimethylformaldehyde solution, 30 deg.C and C=0.3g/dl) and 20-70wt.% of a vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree of 400-800 and (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a modifying agent comprising a polyester elastomer having a melting point of <=220 deg.C (e.g. polybutylene terephthalate-polyether block copolymer containing 20-85wt.% of the polyether).
