PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction of time correction by providing a control means and by making a time casting signal detecting means operate only for a prescribed time before and after the hour of a clock. CONSTITUTION:A time casting signal contained in a broadcasting wave received by a radio set 4 is detected by a time casting signal detecting circuit 24. An error detecting circuit 25 detects an error of the hour of a clock 1 detected by an hour detecting circuit 23, in respect to the time casting signal detected by the circuit 24, and outputs a signal of change of a pulse interval corresponding to the error to a pulse changing circuit 22. Since a control circuit 20 makes the circuit 24 operate only for a prescribed time before and after the hour of the clock 1, the time casting signal is not outputted to the circuit 25 even when a signal being similar to the time casting signal is contained in the broadcasting wave of radio broadcasting or the like, and thus a malfunction is prevented. |
