摘要

PURPOSE:To inhibit the oxidation of the sliding surface of a sliding nozzle, to suppress surface roughening and to improve durability by adding prescribed percentages of polysilane powder and tar and/or a silicone resin soln. as a binder to body composed of refractory inorg. materials. CONSTITUTION:Body composed of refractory inorg. materials is mixed with 1-10wt.% polysilane powder of <=0.2mm particle size based on the amt. of the body. Tar and/or a silicone resin soln. as a binder is added to the mixture by 2-15wt.% basing on the amt. of the mixture and they are kneaded. This kneaded material is molded to obtain the title brick.
