PURPOSE: To measure the beam to be radiated, which has radioactivity without hindering the analyzing capacity of a counter tube by forming a housing chamber for housing a sample in a plate, which is separated from a positive electrode and which is grounded, and applying high-voltage between the positive electrode and the plate. CONSTITUTION: A plate 1, which is separated from a positive electrode 3 and which is grounded, is formed with a housing chamber 10 for housing a sample 2, and high-voltage is applied between the positive electrode 3 and the plate 1. Pulse 4 generated on the positive electrode 3 induces a signal 6, which can be electronically adjusted by a delay lead wire 5. As the voltage is raised higher, electrons to be caught are increased, but as the generated mist of the electron becomes thicker, analyzing capacity is lowered. However, since the housing chamber 10 with this structure is formed with a sufficiently large free movement passage directed in all directions for particles discharged from a space, which is filled with the gas, sufficient number of electrons for generating the pulse in the counter tube can be generated.
