PURPOSE:To detect slide of a belt accurately by detecting slide of a V-belt based on a difference between an engine speed ratio of an engine speed ratio operating means and a torque ratio of a torque ratio operating means, and controlling an adjusting mechanism between V-grooves in such a way that pressing force of a follow-up pulley increases. CONSTITUTION:Slide of a V-belt is detected by comparing a ratio of engine speed N1/N2 due to the numbers of revolutions of a drive shaft N1 and the number of revolutions of a follow-up shaft N2 with a torque ratio T2/T1 due to torque of the drive shaft T1 and the torque of the follow-up shaft T2. Both ratios N1/N2, T2/T1 contain response delay at the time of gear change. Since the effect of change gear response delay is excluded by comparing both, slide of the V-belt is detected accurately. Also, since pressing force of a drive pulley is controlled in accordance with slide, efficiency of power transmission is improved. |
