Liquid automatic dishwashing compositions are provided, which are free of chlorine bleach, contain a solid water-soluble peroxygen compound suspended in a liquid phase containing water and at least one water-miscible solvent; and 5% to 30% of a silicate which creates a suspending structure for the solid bleach compound. Preferred compositions are built with a non-phosphate builder.
