<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a power source by installing a circuit board in which an electric circuit connecting to a transformer is formed to the opening of a case that is provided to house the transformer. CONSTITUTION:A power source 10 holds a transformer 12 and the transformer 12 consists of a core 14 and a coil 16 which is formed by centering the core 14. A circuit board 28 is provided at an opening that is located at one side of a case 20 and the circuit board 28 holds a printed board 30. In the printed board 30, a 1st conductor layer 34 is formed at one side principal surface of an insulating substrate 32 and a 2nd conductor layer 36 is formed at the other side principal surface. If conductor layers which are formed as printed boards that are used at circuit boards on both faces of the insulating substrate are used, one of the conductor layers can be used as a heat sink and then, overheating of circuit components is prevented. In this way, the case of the transformer and the circuit board are incorporated in a body to form a housing part of the transformer. Miniaturization of the power source is realized.</p> |
