PURPOSE:To provide the saving of space by connecting a toner recycling device between a cleaning means and an aperture of a toner housing means. CONSTITUTION:The toner remaining on a photosensitive body 4 is cleaned by the cleaning device. Stripped toners accumulate in the bottom of the device 8 and are further sent by discharge spirals 63 into a discharge pipe 8a. The toners fall from an aperture 32 into a recycle passage 62. The toners are raised by the spirals 63 into a passage 62. The raised toners are carried from a front end 62a through an aperture 61 into the toner housing means 60. The toners 64 carriered therein fall from the discharge port provided on the bottom wall of the toner housing means 60 into a developing device and are replenished by a replenishing roller 18. The need for further adding the spiral members alongside the replenishing roller of the developing device is eliminated according to this constitution and the space thereof is saved. |
