Pressure relief valve - with seat for valve element punched in the sealing plate

A pressure relief valve (2) for a hydraulic circuit has a casing (4) which is closed by a cover (6). Their hydraulic fluid channels are sepd. by a sealing plate (8) with a central hole (14) forming the valve seat for a plunger-shaped valve element (20). The pref. material for the latter is a wear resistant plastic, specially a polyacetal such as POM. ADVANTAGE - This can be made at low cost and requires no additional machining for the punched hole (14). It is easy to integrate in any hydraulic circuit.
