摘要 Electrodynamic loudspeakers have mechanical resonance points which distort the true musical reproduction and currently there exists expensive high fidelity equipment trying to eliminate the problem of the resonance factor in the audio reproduction. The present design is more direct way by providing at least two loudspeakers of identical design. Each has a second coil (17, 27) in the air-gap, between the core (11, 21) and the permanent magnet pot (14, 24). The main coils are connected to the signal input in parallel (31, 32). The auxiliary second coils (17, 27) are cross connected so that a current will be induced to flow through both coils in series. As this current increases near the resonance point a strong opposing force acts on the coils thus reducing the amplitude. ADVANTAGE - Generates much smoother correction of mechanical resonance problem. Relative inexpensive and low quality loudspeaker units produce sound fidelity similar that of expensive and often very bulky equipment.
