The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing profiled wooden elements, characterised in that it consists in producing the said profiled elements 1 by joining conventional standard bought-out rough sections 2, 3 together at their faces 4 and/or their edges 5 with the faces 4 of two opposing sections 2 bearing partially on the corresponding edges 5 of the sections 3 which are perpendicular to them, so that the profiles 1 obtained have dimensions A and B which are greater than the dimensions of the sections 2 and 3 constituting the said profiled elements 1. <IMAGE>
