PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an error in time correction, by a method wherein, in a digital display watch employing a ten key, a correcting time, inputted by the ten key, is temporarily displayed in a display column except a display column for a time to be corrected. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 10 generates a time reference signal which is inputted to counters 18 and 20 from a divider 12, and a second counter 14 to display it in a minute display 2b and an hour display 2a. Outputs of a minute preset circuit 24 and an hour preset circuit 25 are inputted to the counters 18 and 20, and a time of a memory 26 is applied to circuits 24 and 25. The memory 26 is inputted by a ten key group 4 for time input, and a binary digit, being decoded (28), is set by a correcting time preset circuit 30. The content of the memory 26 is selectively displayed in a second display 2c through a switching circuit 32. Meanswhile, a ten key 6a for hour coulmn preset and a ten key 6b for minute column preset are coupled to a time preset control circuit 36, and a ten key 8 for mode switching is connected to a mode switching circuit 38. |
