The intention is to provide a process for making fibre-reinforced plaster boards in which a plaster-fibre mixture provided with make-up water is compressed in a single-stroke press, the lower mould of which is provided with dehydration channels, which are covered towards the workpiece by a dehydration cloth, by which relatively thick fibre-reinforced plaster boards can be produced cost-effectively with adequate strength properties. For this purpose, the invention provides that the upper mould is also provided with dehydration channels covered by a dehydration cloth, that a plaster is used which permits a dehydration phase of at least ten minutes and that the plaster-fibre mixture is formed, dehydrated, compressed and vented in one operation by actuating the single-stroke press.

|
