发明名称 Monoclonal antibodies reactive with herpes virus-6 infected cells - useful in diagnosis and affinity purification
摘要 Hybridoma cell lines which produce monoclonal antibodies (MAb) specific for HHV-6 (human herpes virus 6)-infected cells, HHV-6 proteins or polypeptides, or HHV-6 glycoproteins are new. MAb themselves are also new. MAb designated 2D6, 13D6 and 2D4 are specific for glycosylated polypeptides (gp.) of mol.wt. 82000, 105000, 116000, 72000, 38000, 36000 and 31000; 7A2 is specific for polypeptides (p) of mol.wt. 102000 and 74000, and for gp. 72000 and 105000; 6A5H7 and 6A5G3 for p 116000, 64000, 54000, 105000, 60000 and 45000 and for gp. 116000, 64000 and 54000; 9A5D12 is specific for p 110000 and 41000, while 12B3G4 is specific for p 135000. USE/ADVANTAGE - MAb are useful diagnostically as immunoassay reagents for detecting HHV-6 infected cells or HHV-6 related glyco)proteins. They can also be used in fundamental research on HHV-6 behaviour and for purification of specific proteins (useful in development of vaccines and for detecting antibodies in sera). HHV-6 has been isolated from leucocytes of AIDS patients.
