Picture transfer - from prim. to sec. carrier using specified materials and techniques

A motif, produced on a flexible area as a primary carrier, consisting of at least two printing colours, as a black-and -white or colour picture is transferred to another carrier by joining them under pressure until the motif adheres to the second carrier, both are then sepd. from each other. The motif can be a legend in mirror image writing or a photograph. The secondary carrier can be a ceramic, glass, plastic, metal, cork, wooden stone, paper, textile or leather surface. The pref. prim. carrier consists of CHROMOLUX (RTM) standard paper and the motif can be applied by a thermotransfer printing technique with a colour toner. A heat input of 60-400 deg.C for 5 sec. is recommended. ADVANTAGE - This requires neither high temps. nor the sputtering of a high-voltage discharge.
