PURPOSE:To prevent spotting due to binder granules by adding an org. powdery binder of a prescribed grain size to refractory aggregate or ceramics, forming a green sheet and sintering this sheet. CONSTITUTION:An org. powdery binder of <=200 mesh grain size such as methylcellulose, acrylic resin or polyvinyl acetate is added to refractory aggregate or ceramics such as aluminous, magnesian or siliceous aggregate or ceramics. They are formed into a sheet shape and the resulting ceramic green sheet is sintered to obtain a ceramic substrate. |
