PURPOSE:To detect a routing error with a small hardware by connecting a fault detection circuit taking notice of a specific value of an output line of a Bunyan network. CONSTITUTION:A fault detection circuit 20 detecting a routing error of a Bunyan network 10 connecting to the final stage of Bunyan elements 12-13, 12-23, 12-33, and 12-43 consists of 8 comparators 22 (22-1-22-8) and an OR circuit 32. A fixed value corresponding to an output line 150 connecting to each comparator 22 is set to each comparator 22, and the comparators 22 compare the fixed value with the routing tag of the data inputted via the output line 150 to identify whether or not data are correctly rearranged. Thus, the detection of a routing error is detected with a small hardware constitution. |
