A local information broadcasting system using the Internet and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to obtain information of his actual residential district by collecting information from individuals and groups of a specific district and providing the collected information as a broadcast. A local information broadcasting system using the Internet consists of a plurality of information collecting terminals(100-120), the first server(210), the second server(220), and a plurality of user terminals(300-320). The information collecting terminals detect contents information which contains text data, sound data, picture data, etc. The first server, connected with the information collecting terminals through preset channels, creates broadcast contents information on the basis of the detected contents information and the connected channel information, classifies the created broadcast contents information according to preset classification information, and stores it in a database(230). In case a user terminal is connected to request the sending of broadcast contents information, the second server extracts the requested broadcast contents information from the database and transmits it to the user terminal. The second server analyzes the field of the transmitted broadcast contents information and the user terminal or the user's access information. Based on analyzed results, the second server reconfigures the broadcast contents information menu layout of a preset broadcast screen and provides it to the user terminal. |
