PURPOSE:To execute a wide-range dismantling operation efficiently and to shorten a term of dismantling works by providing an arm supporting element above a reactor shielding body and by fitting a flexible multi-joint-type arm to this arm supporting element so that it can swing round freely. CONSTITUTION:An arm supporting element 11 is provided on the floor 41 of an operating room 4 positioned above a reactor shielding body 2, and a flexible multi-joint-type arm 12 is fitted to this arm supporting element 11 so that it can swing round freely. After a dismantling machine, e.g. a cutter 13, is fitted to the fore end part 12a of this arm 12 and assembled, the cutter 13 is guided to be positioned at an arbitrary position of a dismantling operation of a living body shielding concrete wall 21 in the reactor shielding body 2, with said arm 12 made to extend and swing, by a remote operation by an operator in the aforesaid operating room 4, and the living body shielding concrete wall 21 is cut by the cutter 13. In this way, the dismantling operation is made efficient and a term of works is shortened. |
