<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate positioning of a sheet storage device by arranging a carrier means by which the sheet storage device is carried from a position of insertion to a position of supply, and by arranging an engaging member by which the storage device and the carrier means are detachably connected to each other. CONSTITUTION:A pin 36 of a carrier means 5 is set to a position that faces a groove opening 37c of a cassette 3, which is inserted along rail parts 9a, 10a, until the pin 36 passes through a groove 37e. A chain 20 is driven and the pin 36 is engaged with a groove 37a, while the cassette 3 is moved in the carrier means 5 to be stopped at a certain position. The operation is executed by a douser 21 of a chain 26 and by sensors 22, 23. When the cassette 3 is to be removed, the operation is executed with the chain run in reverse. The device is thus simplified and the positioning of a sheet storage device 3 can be performed with ease.</p> |
