PURPOSE:To realize a simple and economical device by obtaining a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal turned on/off by a modulation reference wave at each period based on a leading and trailing point of time of a carrier inputted digitally by means of a program. CONSTITUTION:The ON and OFF point of time of a pulse are set by a reference wave VB given by a digital value equally at each period of the leading and trailing of a carrier VC given as a digital value by a program. Thus, a PWM signal subject to pulse width modulation is obtained. Since the PWM signal is executed programmably in the inside of a microprocessor, the device is simplified and the economical system with much flexibility is built up. |
