The invention relates to an air-conditioning device for a coach, in which essential parts of the air-conditioning device are combined in a ready-to-install constructional unit which is installed in the rear roof region of the coach. According to the invention, this air-conditioning device is designed in such a manner that the ready-to-install constructional unit (2) extends over the rear roof width of the coach, including the width of the roof duct, and contains the connection openings to the roof ducts (16), the condenser (10), the coolant collecting container (12) and the combined filter and drier (13), the condenser being arranged transversely to the coach on the upper side of the constructional unit (2) under an air feed (17) integrated into a roof part of the coach and in front of suction blowers (11), preferably axial-flow blowers, distributed over the rear side of the constructional unit, and behind each connection opening to the roof ducts (16) there being connected in each case a radial-flow blower unit (8, 20), and that each radial-flow blower unit (8, 20) has a plurality of radial-flow blowers driven by their own driving motors. <IMAGE>
