<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the installing space of a conveying direction switchover means by enabling the switchover of the conveying direction of a sheet of paper in many directions with a single conveying direction switchover means. CONSTITUTION:A conveying direction switchover roller 13 is a conveying direction switchover member for dividing the course of a sheet of paper which is conveyed from, e.g., a fixing roll 16 side to a guide plate 19 or 22 or 24, and two paper guide grooves are formed inside the conveying direction switchover roller 13. This roller 13 is controlled in its rotation by means of a stop motor of which the rotary shaft is fixed to the shaft thereof, to selectively switch over the conveying direction of a sheet of paper in any of the three directions of the guide plates 19, 22 and 24 without requiring a large space.</p> |
