Pharmaceutical compositions which make oral administration possible in liquid form even of active substances with unfavourable organoleptic properties. They contain film-coated particles which contain a pharmaceutical active substance and whose particle cores which contain an active substance are covered with a film which consists of a mixture of a physiologically tolerated polymeric film- former which is insoluble in water and of a physiologically tolerated polymeric film-former which is soluble in water only at pH values </= 5 and optionally of other physiologically tolerated auxiliaries. The particles are present in amounts which can be suspended in water together with physiologically tolerated polymeric suspending agents and, where appropriate, further physiologically tolerated pharmaceutical auxiliaries.
