Equipment for producing radiological images from memory scintillator plates. According to the invention, such a memory scintillator plate 11 is first subjected to a sensitisation treatment under the action of a radiation source 25, before being packaged so as to be placed in a case 28 which is opaque to daylight but transparent to X-rays; after radiography, the plate is removed from its case and read by a sensor 36, whilst being excited by a pulse generator 38.
