HOLDING SYSTEM FOR FAULT INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To decide whether the stop of power supply is caused by an abnormal temperature or not by holding the information on the abnormal temperature in a memory means in case a temperature detecting means detects a fact that the due temperature gets out of a prescribed range of ambient temperatures. CONSTITUTION:An information processing system 40 receives the power from a commercial power supply 1 via a circuit breaker 2 and an AC/DC converter 3. A temperature detecting means 70 actuates the breaker 2 to cut off the power supply 1 after detecting a fact that the ambient temperature gets out of a prescribed range. A temperature abnormality information memory means 402 stores the temperature abnormality information in a nonvolatile memory means 401 before the supply of power received from the converter 3 is stopped in case the means 70 detects said fact of the ambient temperature. In this case, the means 401 holds the temperature abnormality information stored by the means 402 even after the supply of power is stopped from the converter 3. Thus it is possible to decide whether the stop of power supply is caused by the temperature abnormality or not.
