PURPOSE:To continuously obtain readily cookable and edible formed rodlike KONJAK (devil's-tongue) spaghettis at a low cost, by bundling boiled KONJAK spaghettis in a prescribed number into a rod, coating the outer peripheral surface with a KONJAK paste, boiling the resultant KONJAK rod and cutting the boiled rod to a prescribed length. CONSTITUTION:Boiled KONJAK spaghettis (2a) in a prescribed number are taken from a tank 11 by a taking out means 12 and conveyed with forming and feeding rollers 13 and bundled to prepare a rodlike KONJAK spaghetti bundle 2, which is then conveyed to a KONJAK paste feeding means 14. A KONJAK paste is then fed from a KONJAK paste preparation device 15 onto the outer peripheral surface of the KONJAK bundle 2 as indicated by arrows (P) to form KONJAK coatings 3. The resultant KONJAK spaghetti bundle 2 with the formed KONJAK coatings 3 is then conveyed to a boiling tank 16, boiled and cut to a required size with a cutter 17 to afford the aimed formed rodlike KONJAK spaghetti 1. |
