摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a silicone polymer which can be covalently bonded to a substance which can give an indexing or labeling function by reacting a silanol- terminated single-chain dialkylpolysiloxane with a crosslinking agent having a complex organic moiety and eliminating groups. CONSTITUTION:A silicone polymer for detecting an oxygen concentration is obtained by crosslinking a silanol-terminated single-chain dialkylpolysiloxane with a crosslinking agent of the formula: D-SiX3 (wherein D is a complex organic moiety and X is an eliminating group), e.g., a tris(phenanthroline) ruthenium (II) dye of the formula, obtained by reacting 5-(triacetoxysilyl) phenanthroline with bis(diphenylphenanthroline)ruthenium (II) dichloride through a T conjugation. In the measurement of an oxygen concentration, the fact that oxygen suppresses the emission of fluorescence from the indexing part is utilized, and the sample solution is brought into contact with a fluorescent dye-labeled silicone polymer, and the rate of reduction in the quantity of emitted light is measured.
