PURPOSE:To form a dye image which is suitable for rapid processing and has an excellent preservable property by incorporating a specific coupler into the above photosensitive material and executing a bleach processing and processing by a processing bath having fixing power within specific time. CONSTITUTION:This material contains a coupler in which the absorption max. wavelength of the released dye or the dye formed from the precursor thereof is shifted to a short wavelength side prior to the release. This coupler couples the dye released by reaction with the oxidant of an arom. primary amine color developing agent or the precursor thereof to the active position of reaction directly or via a timing group. The total processing time of the bleach processing and the processing by the processing bath having the fixing power is confined within 3min 45sec. The dye image which is suitable for the rapid processing and is improved in the preservable property is thereby formed.
