摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance reliability and safety by constituting so that the lock release at the P range of a shift lever is made impossible unless a brake pedal is stepped in, and that an engine start key can be removed only in the P range position of a shift lever. CONSTITUTION:A crank lever 5 is pivotally supported by a fulcrum shaft 11 of a detent plate 2, and on both ends thereof, Bowden cables 10, 18 for operating an engine start key and a brake pedal respectively are pivotally supported by pins 5a, 5b respectively. On the other hand, in a bell crank 4, a long hole 4a in which a pin 5b moves slidingly is formed at its one end, and a fulcrum shaft 12 is provided at the other end, and further a stepped part 4c is formed at its central part. And a detent pin 3 is shift-locked by the stepped part 4c into a cam cutout 2b which corresponds to the P range of the detent plate 2. Thus, it is so arranged that lock release can be made impossible unless the brake pedal is stepped in, and that the engine start key 6 can be removed only in the P range position of the shift lever.
